Give ‘em Hell W.

For all the relentless criticism that Bush receives from Democrats, it is good to see he has decided to fight back. I hope he keeps this up through the rest of his presidency. The Democrats take cheap shot after cheap shot. Howard Dean, that most annoying of Democrats, pretty much called Bush a liar the other day.

Today, Kerry chimed in with his own dishonest statements (from the same link above):

On Capitol Hill, top Democrats stood their ground in claiming Bush misled Congress and the country. “The war in Iraq was and remains one of the great acts of misleading and deception in American history,” Kerry told a news conference.

Man I am glad that guy is not president (and his wife is not first lady)!

I find it disturbing that Democrats have basically stooped to calling the President of the United States a liar as their chief political strategy. Personally, every time I hear these Democrats talk it reminds me why I never vote for a Democrat (only once in the last 25 years, and that was a mistake in hindsight).

Of course, Democrats have no alternative polices for anything - unless you consider giddily expanding the welfare state in every way imaginable an alternative policy. So this leaves them wide open for counterattacks on every policy, including the Iraq conflict. What is their policy alternative for Iraq. Setting a withdrawal timetable? That is no policy, just oversimplifed wishful thinking.

Give ‘em hell W, I can guarantee that your conservative base (including non-liberal bloggers like myself) will support you all the way.
