A Double Standard: Liberals Can Never Be Racists

Those tolerant leftists: The Most Offensive Racist Cartoon Published In Major US Daily in 40 Years (hat tip Michelle Malkin).

Imagine if a cartoon like this was done from a conservative point of view. I am always amazed by the double standards in the MSM and in U.S. political debates in general. It is assumed that liberals are tolerant, so anything they say is, well … tolerant. The cartoon linked above? Well, it’s just a joke. Ha Ha. But if it was a joke about Jessie Jackson done by a conservative, why of course, by definition, it would be racist.
