About Me

Dan
My name is Dan Morgan. I have lived about half of my life in a blue state (Pennsylvania!) and half of my life in a red state (Texas!). I did have some brief stints in other states. I went to college in Ohio and lived in Maryland and Florida during a couple of summer jobs in my college years. I have a degree in electrical engineering and have worked as a circuit-chip designer, and lately as a systems engineer, at the same high-tech Fortune 500 company since graduating from college in 1981.

My wife of 21 years and I have two daughters, aged 20 and 17. They are all three beautiful, smart, and kind, and I am lucky.

In my job, I have been fortunate enough to travel to many places and meet people from many different cultures. This includes Norway, Germany, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, and … California.

Here are a few more things about me -
